Christmas in Dallas

Christmas in Dallas so far means highs in the 60s that are happening more and more frequently.
It also means lights strung all around, Neiman Marcus christmas displays, saxophones playing christmas music on the sidewalks, and giant christmas trees. Those are some of the perks of living downtown during the holidays.
Another was the City Lights Festival that happened right outside our door to really kick off Christmas, before Thanksgiving even arrived.
We went with 3 other couples to witness all of the madness.
 It was fantastic.
The kind of fantastic that involves santa arriving via jetpack.
And fireworks shooting off the top of downtown buildings synchronized to music.
People walking on stilts.
Hot chocolate and pretzels and christmas music.
Neiman marcus displays where children can climb throughout it inside tubes.
Afterwards we all went out to eat some mexican food and some came back to our place to catch up.
It was a magical night.
Did I mention the JETPACK?
